Hertford College Boat Club (HCBC) is the college’s boat club that any member of Hertford can join. Rowing at Oxford is a unique experience, and we offer training for all levels of experience: form novices and social rowing, to our 1st VIIIs competing in the Oxford bumps regattas and at national events such as the Head of the River Races.

Off the river, HCBC aims for a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that runs through the time at the boathouse, Boatie Cocktails, infamous crew-dates and summer BBQs.

During freshers’ week there will be taster sessions for people that have never tried rowing before, and sign-up sheets for these will be available in the lodge.

See the HCBC website for more detailed information.
