Support For Women

OWN works “to connect female faculty, staff and students, serve as a clearing-house for services and information (conferences, training courses etc) and serve as a forum for networking and discussion of issues affecting women in the University.” Runs events throughout the academic year.

Support for women and political feminism through two positions – Women’s Officer and Vice President (Women), who can be contacted through the OUSU. Join the women’s campaign mailing list, or drop by for weekly meetings Mondays at 5:45pm during term time (2 Worcester Street, behind Gloucester Green).

A collective of women committed to supporting survivors of sexual abuse, rape, domestic abuse, and harassment. They operate a free and confidential service for women and girls who are dealing with the effects of sexual violence, which includes a telephone help line (01865 726 295), support groups, and email support.
